SERENDIPITY - A BLOGALONG POST

She knew she’d done the wrong thing
Even her horoscope had said “Beware”.
Rubbish idea … blind dating! .....said her friend.
Every part of her body wanted to run.
Not turned up eh? Said the waiter.
Deep blue eyes looked down on her.
I’m afraid not. I’ll leave .....she stammered
Please don’t! My shift has ended. I’ll join you.
In between courses they chatted and laughed.
This was all two years ago.
Yesterday was their first wedding anniversary.
