A beautiful sky this morning but a really heavy frost; it has been so cold overnight that even part of the pond has frozen!

One other problem with this cold snap is that all the bulbs and seedlings that had been sitting happily in our plastic greenhouse have now had to come indoors. Now I don't have a windowsill to spare but I want everything to receive as much light as possible.
WINDOWSILLS URGENTLY NEEDED
I know the feeling. I ran out of windowsills ages ago and I'm getting desperate.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sunset and sunrise photographs. When I think about your dedication with all your plants on your window sills, and all the hard work it involves, my admiration for you keeps growing and growing.
ReplyDeleteMel; it really is so difficult isnt it; I hate it when the seedlings get leggy.
ReplyDeletewildlife garder; thanks...I so love your garden..it really is a paradise
I've been worried about my plants the last few nights. I've planted up wall baskets with small plug plants which at the mo hang on the wall of my lean-to greenhouse.
ReplyDeleteLast night hubby went out there and tucked them all in with fleece.
What stunning windowsills. I have them but they are too narrow to use!
ReplyDeleteThats the one thing I miss most moving here - no windowsills
Your garden is going to look stunning.
And so I admire your sunrises and sunsets, you ought to frame those collages of yours or print them off to use on cards or as presents - the are so beautiful
what beautiful colours in the sky!!! It isn't very nice here in leeds and feels very cold....even though I can't get outside lol
ReplyDeleteLovely to see the indoor garden ;o) You keep them seedlings etc nice and snug....for me ;o) lol
Have a lovely day Ruth {{{BIG HUGS}}} to you and Mick xx
Thanks Lottie; they would be my own form of ATCs...I don't have the craft skills to make ones like I see around Blogworld.
ReplyDeleteTalj; you'll have to hope the weather warms up or you will be sleeping with this lot when you come to stay!
In an amazing reversal of fortune, it will actually come close to being 60 degrees today... almost all of the snow has melted in the garden and my daffodils have shoots... hurray!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't offer a windowsill ( too narrow) but I do have a lovely large sliding glass door! I'm going to get some berry plants and grapes today... they could all be roomies!
ethel
Your windowsills are really like mini gardens...or jungles!!
ReplyDeleteI think T is going to need to move house; she's getting the gardening bug and I doubt a balcony will satisfy her for long!!
