Soon after Mick passed away I had a phone call from Denise. She offered to make me some memorial cards and asked me if I had a photo of Mick's special flower and any words that I would like to be put on them. Mick's special baby was his white Rhododendron he has nurtured it for over 10 years and it has thrived under his care....so I sent Denise a close up photo of its flowers. Today, the day of Mick's funeral, I would like to share the card with you.

The quote is one so very dear to me and one of the many thoughts it holds is from the very first days that I found your blog, Ruth, just a few months ago when we some how shared stories of one anothers lives and from that grew such a wonderful friendship.

ReplyDeleteRuth,,,,my heart goes out to you. It's a hord day to get through. I was widdowed at 38 (7 years ago) and it's tough at first. Take solice in your garden and you WILL feel Mick in the strangest of places :o)
