SKY WATCH FRIDAY
It's nice looking back at old photos sometimes......so many memories....I think in future I'll try and post a sky photo I took at approximately the same time last year as well as a current one if I find one in any of my old folders. Have a good weekend everyone...Leanne & co staying for a few days so having a chance to catch up with the family. Then it's back to College on Monday...how the week's flown!!!!!
If you're taking part in or want to know more about Sky Watch Friday pay a visit to Dot at Strolling Through Georgia

Seeing old and new pictures from the same places reminds me of "The times they are a'changing" ...
The second is best. Getting bored of all the colors of clouds in SKWF
Nice pictures.
Change in weather.... Giving various motives. :)
Beautiful sky watch photos, well done...
I really LOVE those warm colors in the sky! Second picture is nice with the sun shining through the hole in the clouds:)
Beautiful choices! The first one almost looks like an oil painting.
That is a wonderful comparison. Well done.

Such interesting pictures and so is the fact that they were taken a year apart! they are both very pretty.
First a little comment to Arne's comment: Well this is sky watch, some photos are grey and some are colourful.
I love both your photos! It's nice to see the change in weather.
Hi Ruth,, Love the colours of the 2 different Skies....
I sort of shoot as i go, so i guess i do show photos from same time the year before. maybe i could link back when i have a year of this done. But your skies are just stunning. The colors are wonderful. My Sky Watch is here.

hi, sounds like your hamster wheel and mine are both spinning too fast, well done with the studies, and have a well deserved fun break with the kids!
How interesting to see the same view a year apart. Nice idea, Ruth!
Hey I thought I'd left a message here before... obviously not ho-hum... yeah the top one... the sky here looked just like that... even more vivid... so intense that if you photo'd it, it would look faked-up, you know with Photoshop or whatever the program's called...
I hope everything's OK with you... & the course & everything... take care Ruth

For anybody reading and wondering about Ruth, just wanted to let you all know Ruth is well and is OK, she is just having problems with her computer. Her IT allocated time at college is allowing her to keep up with her studies. I spoke with Ruth yesterday and she was as practical as ever, cheerful midst adversity and touched by the concern expressed here.
Mrs. Nesbitt, thank you so much for letting us know Ruth is doing fine. I look forward to her return whenever her computer decides to behave itself!
Hope all is goping well with the studies! Thinking of you! Let us know when the computer is working again!
Thank God you're OK Ruth... sorry to go a bit OTT I just got a bit worried! Dont' study too hard now and take care, lots of love

Hai Ruth I am glad that your are doing OK and "take care with your PC" haha! Good luck with your study!
Ios (my dog) is so sick I am really scared, no time for much blogging, have to watch her.
Bye from JoAnn (Holland)
Both of the photos are beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing. It's amazing how different the sky looks a year later.
Blessings,
Mary
Hope you get your computer sorted soon Ruth - I miss you! x

Hi Ruth,
I like the outline of the house tops!
Best wishes for your return after time off from college.
Hi Ruth: computer in repairers still? Are you snowed down by work? Mrs Nesbitt told us all you were OK: but how come you don't post a tiny message yourself? It doesn't have to be a song and dance (but I bet you would get loads of replies) and so on... do get in touch soon Ruth we're all hoping you'll be ready to come back to us soon. Take care adn lots of love. Looking forward to your copiously long messages, fully illustrated posts with cartoons, youtubes and photographic accompaniment, and full-on entertainment to follow! Come on Ruth no pressure but you know what's expected! OK seriously now just post a tiny garden shot and tell how you are we MISS YOU.
LOADS OF LOVE

This is, I think, a great post. Not surprising, I suppose, since I've run photos of myself taken at the same place many years apart.
I'd like to invite you to point your camera out the window and share the view.
If you come and visit my site, The Lives and Times..., and like what you see I'd like to do a link exchange.
