THANKS AND UPDATE

Thanks for all the wonderful comments on my Special Memories post.....the weekend went better than I could have hoped for. Some tears but plenty of laughter. I have made an effort to visit some of you but I've a lot of reading to do and some homework so apologies to those I haven't visited yet. I've also got to make the decision whether to apply to do a BA (Hons) English and History which starts next year. Difficult when I haven't got through this course yet!! but I need to apply and sort out funding/grants etc well in advance which means lots of form filling...UGH! I need to get a place at Bury St Edmunds if I want to start next September as at least I can get a bus there without too much hassle.

I've volunteered to take an after school Maths club at our local primary school on Thursdays....the club was going to close down as they had no one to run it; I thought it a shame so offered to give it a try. I mean how difficult can it be to keep 6 children entertained Mathswise for 50 minutes?????.....I hope that's not a case of famous last words...only time will tell!!!!!
I hate posting my blog without a photo so quickly snapped the view out of my kitchen window before it got dark.......................

i love your kitchen window.....very pretty ......the kitchen of my current apartment does not have a window...how lousy can it get...but i will make sure that the next apartment i inhabit should necessarily have one.

You are such a smart lady..!
If I was to volunteer to take an after school Maths club, I'd have to learn maths first. I am rubbish with maths, other than making change. Never could get the hang of it..!

Yes I like the window also, I would like a view like that when I'm stood there in my 'pinny' washing the pots after a hard days cooking and cleaning.. ha! I do wash up though.. honestly.
Do people still wear pinney's

You go for it Ruth!

Maths, children, rather you than me! Can't wait to hear how it goes.

Good to hear your weekend was nice and I love the view through your kitchen window!

Kids seem to love sudoku, maybe you could try that for one thing? I'm glad the weekend was good. The BA sounds great but it does need careful thinking about. Good luck with your decision! {{HUGS}}

Good luck with the math club. You will be great at it. You get an award for bravery, going back to school and now a BA. Hugs to you. The view from your window looks very peaceful.

It would be nearly impossible for me.

It's a wonder my son is as smart as his is with math.

Sounds like you will be busy soon.
