BLOG-A-LONG APRIL - THREE WISHES
It wasn't until I popped over to Auntie Noo's blog that I realised I had forgotten all about this month's Blogger's Paradise Post. The theme for April is "Three Wishes"..........it would be all to easy for me to state the obvious wish in the light of this month's sad happenings. I know I should be very virtuous and wish for world peace, an end to famine and a cure for all ills...but I'm going to post about my "selfish" Three Wishes......three things that Mick and I often wished, all with a gardening theme..
To go to the RHS Gardens at Wisley ; so many times we had almost visited it but never quite made it.
To go to the Eden Project; we both love Cornwall so much and this was a special holiday we planned to do one day.
To have enough land to start a small nursery; growing plants that we had raised ourselves; selling them at affordable prices....making just enough money to "get by" but being able to do the thing we love best 24/7.
The first two wishes I hope that someday I will be able to fulfill in both our names. The third???.....perhaps more a dream than a wish...unless of course those 6 winning lottery numbers come up!

Fabulous three wishes - I live less than 10 mins from Wisley, and used to go there often as a child... in fact was hoping to get there near my birthday this year. I also did the Eden project last year on a one day train/eden excursion. It was really good, but smaller than I expected.
Really hope your wishes come true. (Now you see I wish I was a genie!!!)
Everyones 3 wishes would be so different and rightly so! I have been to Wisely many,many years ago and would love to go again! I have never been to the Eden project and yes would love to go!! Sorry but your lottery win has to come after mine!!lol!!!
Newts great we used to have them, but I think the fish ate them , but my mew designed garden will incorperate another pond next to the current one with no fish in!! For froggies and newts only!!!

Please do tell me what the hot hot pink flowers on tall stems are in your 'Late September' photos, and do you think it would grow in North Texas? They are absolutely beautiful!! GREAT wishes! how wonderful it would be to do that that you love 24/7 and make $ while doing so! it's so obvious that you have a deep love of the earth and what she brings forth...very nice! Here's wishing you luck with your wishes!
