You do get some weird looking plants down in suffolk dont you? ;o)

Hi Ruth, It's a Comma butterfly, it gets it's name from the white comma you can see on its underwing.
I'm suprised it hasnt got an umbrella with it, with the amount of rain we are having. It's funny how only last week everyone was hoping for rain and now as it hasn't stopped for a week how we want the sun back.

On a completely seperate note could you tell me where you got the solar powered dragonflies from , as i think they would look fantastic dotted around my garden.
Cheers Mark

Wow, isn't that butterfly/moth beautiful! I had to look really closely, it looks like a piece of bark.

What a cool looking butterfly.
It looks like a chunck of wood.
Happy Sunday.

Ruth, that's amazing -- what a cool photo! Is it a beneficial moth or butterfly?

That's so interesting. I've never seen a butterfly (or moth) like that!

Oh my this is amazing!
We don't have too many butterflies here. We get alot of bees and hummingbirds. But we are low on butterflies

mine is up late

How unusual! It does, like the others said, look like a piece of bark! You have a beautiful garden!! Happy Mother's Day, and Happy GTS! :)

Amazing woody-looking thing, isn't it? Great photo and I'm glad I'm late because I got to see the answer for what it is, lol! Nice GTS entry!
