FEELING PASTY SO MADE A PASTIE!
I'm still suffering with my silly cold but have decided to keep busy to take my mind off of it.
I had a pack of ready made puff pastry in the fridge so thought I'd make some pasties.
They didn't turn out too bad and Manda had one at lunch time and said it was delicious.

I just can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the view of our road outside the house today. Two single mattresses just dumped!!! I remember when Mick was well, the number of times he would gather up OTHER peoples dumped rubbish and take it to the local tip; a. because it was such an eyesore and b. because it would take the council so long to respond to a "fly tipping" phone call. WHY do people do things like this??????????
Answers please in the comments box!
P.S. Just in case you don't visit my other blog - I'VE FINALLY STARTED WRAPPING PRESENTS!!!!!!!!!!!

Your pasties look delicious!!
Those mattresses look awful!! I hae no idea why people do that sort of thing. Fortunately in Bury the council is usually quite good about removing stuff ... are they still there, or have they been taken away now?
I will dream of pasties now!
As for Fly Tipping, it is absolutley disgusting!
Why do they do it? i have no idea, other than utter disregard for the environment!
Cheers

Hi Ruth
I hope your feeling well again soon from that cold. Those pasties look so delicious I dont no were you find the time. and I trully dont know why people throw litter about.
I used to live somewhere, it was a bit run-down, weeds/etc. One day someone dumped some old computer equipment. That started it all off. Within a month I was cluttered out with old mattresses, rusting bedsprings, glass jars, rotting batteries the whole works. And this was right outside my home!
