UFO SIGHTING?

I was awoken this morning by what I can only describe as a strange rumbling, crashing sound. I quickly jumped out of bed, looked put of the window and saw strange flashing lights just above our back fence. I suppose I should have felt frightened but my immediate reaction was to grab my camera and rush out into the garden and take a photo. In a panic that whatever it was may disappear before I got out there I threw on my dressing gown, raced into the kitchen and snatched up my camera. All the time I was thinking "don't disappear and don't let my camera be out of battery!". I was so lucky; I managed not only to capture these two photos (I apologise if they are a bit blurred but I had no time to worry about composing the shots or anything);

I quickly turned the dial to video mode and managed to get these few seconds of footage before the "thing" disappeard

It was a strange start to what was to become one of the most exciting days I've had for a couple of months; (see There are a million stories)

I am SOOOOO jealous! I remember when I was about 8 or 9 years old seeing something similar whiz over the treeline visible from my bedroom window, but never saw anything like it again. Come back ET!!!!!!!!!

Come on, Ruth! That's the flashing orange light on top of the council rubbish truck!

It's only "unidentified" because they haven't been by for so long.

Surely?!?

Earthlings we had hoped to disguise ourselves as a common object in order to visit your world and so not be noticed. Unfortunately Dustcarts are rare in this place we have visited; this has meant we have been noticed too easily. Sadly we must now leave for fear of capture. We shall return again when we have found a better disguise.

It's neat, whatever it is.

Thank you for visiting the Profile Directory. I tried to access your profile page and got a message saying that it wasn't available. You might have to enable access to it. It could also be a temporary blogger glitch. I ran across some of these a few days ago. I will try again a few times in the next couple of days. Thanks.
