I had a message on my computer the other day from BT telling me that I should update - well who am I to argue - so like a good girl I updated.
I had a message from Internet Explorer the next day telling me I should update to IE7 - well they're the computer whizzes - who am I to argue - so like a good girl I updated.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What on earth has happened to my toolbar; where's my refresh icon gone; why is dashboard hidden behind my blog; why am I getting this message:

Does I E stand for "I ENEMY"?
Is number 7 short for 007....licensed to kill?
OK I know some of you smartypants will be saying - "well she should have checked first" - met a few of you on Google Groups. Well if you KNOW about computers then probably you realise that, but for a computer novice like me I ASSUME that the likes of Microsoft etc would be the experts. So if they say UPDATE...................I UPDATE
As far as I can gather I need to get back IE6 -----HOW? ---------- but someone on Google Groups said they've done that and Dashboard is still hidden.
Ok so I've found another entry route but it's not as quick as hopping from blog to blog and clicking customise; all valuable seconds wasted.
So if you're out there F.C.B.:
spare a dimes worth of knowledge for a poor woman
