PHOTOHUNTERS - PINK

Photo Hunt

How lucky I am that this weeks theme is PINK as it means I can carry on showing more photos from Wisley! First some of the beautiful pink Cyclamen from the Cyclamen Society.

Even this white one has the slightest blush of pink...I'd never realised before the range of patterns on the leaves

Back to the pinks though........I couldn't believe it when I saw this Spring flowering Azalea in bloom. It won't be a surprise to John G though....on Monday he posted a similar photo of his white Azalea in flower.

There were some beautiful Colchicums (Autumn Crocus) in bloom...these doubles took my breath away! They are not actually part of the Crocus family at all....I think they are related to Irises......they are often familiarly called Naked Ladies due to the fact that the leaves don't appear until Spring.

I'm not sure what the name of this Rose was but it smelled heavenly...I'll end with last Saturday's fabulous PINK sunset.....

WOW you are good! Not just with the camera, but knowing your flowers, even your sunsets. These are great photos and commentary.

The first few photos were beautiful but WOW , you saved the best for last...first the rose...and the pink sunset. "pink sky's at night sailor's delight"! A delight to me too. :-)

Hi Ruth,
I thought of pink flowers but I usually don't have any. The sunset is so beautiful. Happy weekend.

Hey Ruthie, even if this week's colour was purple with blue and orange spots, I bet there would have been something at Wisley to fit in! I am so enjoying them (no NOT bored!) you have a good eye for composition and make it feel like we are wandering through there with you, thanks!

Ruth, have you ever thought of putting your fantastic photographs into a collection and having them published? Might be the way to financial freedom, to say nothing of sharing such beauty with even more people!
