BIRDS OF A FEATHER
Yesterday, at the school Manda works at, the children had the exciting treat of a visit by some birds of prey. Manda was able to snap a few photos; none of the birds in flight as they just moved so quickly!! She said that the birds were so tame that they would sit on your shoulder and allow you to stroke them. How wonderful for the children (and teachers) to learn about the birds by seeing them "in the feather".

Manda has just popped in for lunch and the school's photos are so blurred that she is going to scan hers for their displays...she's well chuffed.
Fabulous photographs! Well done, Manda! 'He made their glowing colours he made their tiny wings'...and large ones too!Magnificent birds of prey.
