I love the frog photos. Your photos are really good. Your area is definitely warmer than here in the south of Scotland. I will post a picture of our spawn when it appears to let you compare the difference in time-scale.
I remember when I was a child and I had a pond in my back yard. I loved tadpoles, and I used to go running everymorning to see if there were new changes. I've been trying to get some for manuel but the ones in the lake in front of my house are TOO fast and I can't catch them. Manu was born in the city, so he thinks frogs are always frogs, eggs are only in the supermarket and chicken are those things we buy whithout feathers or head LOL. Anyway, maybe I'm lucky and I can show him here the real truth. XOXOXO Ani
O wow aren't they cute as long as they're not walking or hopping on your hand ..?
Did I ever say I once had a pet frog? It lived in a fishtank full of tropical fish. It was the smallest frog I have ever seen could not have been bigger than 1/2 inch long if not smaller & he was fully grown. (Everyone said he would grow massive but he didn't.) And he only cost £2.
Thanxx for the Olive url I pasted it up yesterday!
I think our frogs are quite shy and reserved (just like me;-))...so we don't get too much noise from them....just low croaks. Wish I could send manu some frog spawn but like Chocolate cake I don't think it would travel well!
