MORE WEATHER NEWS!

The morning started with high hopes of a dry sunny day. A lovely sunrise yet; although the sun rises in the East there were red clouds were in the West. I should have remembered the old adage "Red sky in the morning shepherd's warning" because by 9.30 the heavens had opened and we had a very noisy thunderstorm. I am really glad we hadn't had an early start and gone out for a walk. The words RATS and DROWNED spring to mind. I feel really sorry for people who work all week and their only chance for getting out and about is at the weekend. This weekend has been a total washout for them.
