SO MUCH TO DO!
You may wonder, after seeing the title of this post, why I am sitting blogging when I have so much to do. The reason is that I have 10 minutes to spare before I start preparing lunch (just warming soup and cake cutting involved) which isn't enough time to even START on any of my "jobs I must get done".
I still haven't started any empty box (ready for Santa to fill) wrapping and the fresh bedding has got to put on the beds upstairs ready for Friday and Saturday night's visitors. I really must get a hoover round upstairs too and I'm sure some of our spider friends have started putting their own weblike Christmas decorations up! And I must get around to answering some emails. There's one in particular that is long overdue.

I also decided (in some crazy moment) that, instead of wasting 2 hours in town searching for those special family Christmas cards, now I had a computer and printer I would make my own. I have a funny feeling that this may have been a bad decision as I have an idea it's going to take me a lot longer than 2 hours to do!!!! At least I can do it in my own time though. I remember last year when Mick and I had one of our rare trips to town, a few weeks before Christmas it was , and I did literally spend the WHOLE 2 hours searching for cards. What a waste. If we do manage a trip this year I want us to be able to enjoy all the festive sights and decorations.
I have done one important task this morning. With so may of our book shelves and so much of our furniture being upstairs it means that I will have less surfaces to put all our Christmas ornaments on. So I have spent some time moving all the houseplants from the windowsills downstairs and putting them upstairs or in the hall. They are a bit squashed up and watering them will be a nightmare!
This 10 minutes is slipping by quickly; I like to pop a photo on my posts that pertains to what I've written about if I can, so.....let me think.......I don't think a photo of unmade beds is very interesting and at a later date I'll be posting pictures of the house plants in my A to Z........Ah I know. Not exactly an in house photo as it's one taking in the garden but it does cover one of the things I've written about.
