A VALENTINE SURPRISE
I was astounded when the post arrived today as mysteriously there was a card for me from MICK!!! ......I feel sure he had a helping hand from someone ....I wonder who???? Along with that were some bulbs I had ordered.......a little bit of Serendipity there that they should arrive today of all days!
Bletilla Striata
Calla Red Embers
Calla Anneke
I will be growing all of these in pots so that I can move them into sunny positions in the garden and easily give them a little winter protection in the shed.

What a wonderful surprise - and yes although someone 'might' have helped in the organisation of it - Mick would definitely have been inspirational, if not conspirational in ensuring that you have a lovely day, knowing how much he loves you.
喂露絲。感謝您的華倫泰的消息等。它意味很多對我。你認為偉大的世界文學怎麼樣今天中國
許多感謝您的華倫泰。我送回您華倫泰也是!!
Put that back through Babelfish and Hua Lun Tai means Valentine (speak it aloud to yourself and you can hear that, too.) Maybe Hua Lun Tai was someone famous??
許多感謝您的華倫泰。我送回您華倫泰也是!!
This is its translation of the top line:

Poetry in motion to be sure!!!
What I'd actually said was more along the lines of Hi to you too. Thanks for your Valentine. You can be my valentine too. What do you think of today's Chinese renditions of great world literature?

The flowers will be a lovely addition to your beautiful garden. I can't wait to see the pictures. Right now, my garden is buried beneath at least 3 ft of snow, so please Ruth, take LOTS of pictures...sigh...
