BEEN AND FOUND A BEAN

I'll be doing a longer post later about my visit with the school to Gainsborough House....but had to do this quick post just to show off my first bean starting. I hadn't intended to grow runner beans this year; they were always Mick's "babies" but when Talj came to stay she bought some seeds for her balcony garden and gave me a few to try. As I'm only growing them in a tub they don't take up much space.

Yeaaaa for your first bean, beginning to grow. :-)

And thank you for telling me that you too, were unable to comment in 'smilnsigh'. I just posted another entry on this, because you are the 2nd one today, who has told me this. I am getting aggrivated at Blogger!!! As you can see if you read my last entry.

I tweaked all my comments settings, in all 4 of my blogs, to say "Anyone." That should be true. If not, I am about to get very upset with Blogger and start a complaint campaign. Grrrr. ,-)

And as to template troubles, I'm very afraid to change my templates. I'd be glad to tell you what Sheila told me, in order to put a picture in my 'smilnsigh' blog template.

If you write an email to
warrrmmm at yahoo dot com, and please say 'From Ruth' in the subject line. I always put my name in my mail Subject lines because of SPAM mails. I'll give you the link to where Sheila sent me and if you want to, you can play with it, sometime. :-)

They just won't grow here. We have tried runner, pole and bush beans and they don't like us. However broad beans think they are natives and are prolific and my husband loves them
