GONE FISHING...
What a fantastic walk we had yesterday. We left at 11am and didn't get home until 4pm. We were so lucky with the weather; so much of the country had rain....we had cloudy skies but not one spot of the wet stuff.....well not until 5 minutes after we got home...it's been pouring down since. We went via our usual Riverside walk towards the town, followed the old (now unused railway route), went towards the Mill Hotel, over the Meadows to the Croft and finally home. Naturally I took loads of photos...just a small selection here.

To save me cooking Leanne treated us all to a MASSIVE Chinese Takeaway.
Didn't move much after that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Looks like a fun walk!!
Its so much fun when you all go out together and the girls 'want' to join in with you, makes such a difference I think! No wonder you didn't move after that dinner, can you move this morning???
Managing a slight shuffle but still feel like I'll never need to eat again. Bet that will all change when I start cooking the grandkids breakfast.....the smell of sizzling bacon always gets to me.
Loved the slide show and the videos Ruth. The swans seem to lift up their skirts going into the water don't they? LOL
That Chinese takeaway has got my taste buds tingling now!
