EARLY TO BED - EARLY TO RISE
(scroll down for Green Thumb Sunday)
It's starting to get dark earlier in the evening now and I find myself getting tired by 10pm and am inclined to have far earlier nights than I used to. The bonus is that I'm awake early in the morning...and usually up and about by 6am. This morning I was awake by 4am and I thought I'd take the opportunity to have an early morning walk and watch the sun come up....

There's something so special and tranquil about early mornings isn't there. Beautiful photos, thanks for sharing them.
Well firstly - you're mad!!! - ut secondly WOW! beautiful photos and just the thing to get Sunday off to a peaceful start! (I'm now embarrassed 'cos I'm still in my PJ's10
I used to love doing this. There is something really beautiful about being the only one up at this time and to watch the sunrise feeling like you're about the only person in the world!
Even better than that is the opportunity to capture those moments with a camera and you have done that wonderfully! Great images Ruth.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday {{HUGS}} x
Ruth you have captured some fantastic images there m'dear! I especially like the close up of the sun - it's stunning - and the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for sharing your photos.
What a terrific way to get the day started! I used to arise early every day and walk, but living where we do, it is not wise to walk country roads all alone. Too many "wild things" roaming about!!!
Superb!! Ruth absolutely superb xx Auds
Hi Ruth,
I thought i was the only person to be about at this time. I,m on 12 hr night all week so i get to see plenty of this, you carn't beat a sunrise though.
Cheers Mark
hi Ruth,I am please you got up early so we could see these lovely photo's thanks for sharing,
Thanks so much for sharing your sunrise! It's a time of day I do not tend to see very often, LOL! Gorgeous photos as always.
I am not a morning person, so I never get to see these things! :)
I often get up early and wander around the garden - so peaceful isn't it, and there is something special about that time of the day
My dear friend, I've spent the last hour reading your blogs and catching up with you. I decided to write my comment in this blog this time, I don't know, somehow I needed to be here where I can smell flowers and enjoy your magic, even my mouse became a dragonfly...what else can I ask for? Well, yes, there's something else... could you forgive me for my not having come lately? I'm so sorry Ruth, I have no excuse. Believe me, I haven't deserted you, I'm still here and I love you a lot.
xoxoxox (coming back little by little)

What a lovely display. Great idea. I'm an early-morning person too - it is so tranquil.
Great post, Ruth. I can remember my grandfather telling me as a teenager that early morning was the best part of the day :-) Of course I never believed him until I was older!
Early morning is my favorite time of day - it's like a present being slowly unwrapped for me.
You asked if I collect china like that on my blog today. No, I don't. In fact, someone needs to whack me if I try to collect anything - I have too much of everything already. However, I won't get rid of my pretty little pots now, will I.
I love taking the dogs out in dew filled grass with noone around, I can see why you found this therapeutic x x x
