A TALE OF THREE BLOGS

Skittles has started a new meme called HEADS OR TAILS; she is going to put up a calendar in her sidebar listing the topics for each Tuesday and then you can decide how you want to interpret it; it could be a story, poem, photo, video....whatever you like. I'm not taking part at the moment but I'm sure some of you may like to join so click on the links and let Skittles know. The topic for this week is BEGINNINGS......I guess in a way by mentioning this I have done a post after all!

While I'm on the subject of fellow bloggers I must make sure you all know about the fabulous offer Mark - the greenfingered photographer has made. As many of you know he takes the most wonderful photos and has made some of them into headers for fellow bloggers to use on their own blogs. He is also willing to make headers of any of his photos if there's a particular one you like or if you have a photo of your own you'd like to use he's happy to make the header for you. For further information just click on his name above.

Now to blog #3...............

SHAZ has kindly awarded me with a Blogger Refection Award...I know I've said I'm not doing anything that involves tagging at the moment but when someone says

"And my dear bloggin' buddie Ruth who has shared her most intimate moments with us. Ruth's heartfelt story has never prevented her from supporting other bloggers with her kind & wise comments & email. She's a supportive Mum, Grandmother, Friend & Bloggin' Buddie with a heart so big you can't but be inspired by her strength."

when they present an award to you what can you do but accept it! Now comes the problem; the criteria for presenting the award are as follows;

It is called The Blogger Reflection Award. Why? The reason for the title is because this award should make you reflect bloggers who have been an encouragement, a source of love, impacted you in some way, and have been a Godly example to you. Bloggers who when you reflect on them you get a sense of pride and joy... of knowing them and being blessed by them.This award is for the best-of-the-best so consider who you pick, carefully. This award should not be given to just anyone.

and I have to whittle down to just three of all of the blogs that have encouraged and supported me through difficult times....................some I know don't accept awards that involve tagging; after putting those to one side I ended up with 20 names which I put into a hat (well actually it was a fruit bowl) and these are the three that came out...................

Jenny -Tri Di(ary) ......whose courage, determination and dedication has now resulted in her completing her second triathlon; all in aid of charity. Despite a gruelling training programme she still met the needs of her family and her community plus supported me with comments and emails.

Claire - A Little Piece Of Me....who despite being a carer is studying to become a counsellor, is a prolific and humourous blogger (she does make me smile), regales us with stories and photos of her hiking escapades, is an assistant leader to a Beaver Group, has taken it upon herself to teach the world how to speak (slang) English and is an all round, down to earth girl.

Mousie (in fact the whole of Plumpiemousie) .........for the sheer magic and joy this blog brings, full of wonder, places to visit, books to read, a whole community that welcomes it's readers as an old friend.

To those of you whose names are still in the fruit bowl......you are all deserving of this award...I have no doubt that in the course of time you'll all be displaying it.

I can vouch Mousie's blogs are just what you say: quite magickal!!

The plant is reviving by the day still even the ivy, some of which went as brittle and dry as my fresh mint when I left it a month on the side, is gradually returning to life ... I'm glad I had the wherewithall to make my own flower pot otherwise it would definitely have carked it waiting for me to find/obtain/borrow/nick one!
